Developing new awareness through boundaries and Awareness

I provide therapy to healers who are wanting to create a new way of seeing the world, one that matches the compassion and intuition that you find in your peaceful emotional and physical spaces. I often work with healers using mind/body awareness. Often our current awareness is shaped by our childhood experiences especially as it relates to a sense of self. Co-dependency is so common place in most homes, that it becomes normalized and translated into adult life. As girls, we are often taught to ignore important signs to protect our physical or emotional life which can leave us feeling disconnected from our gifts and higher self. It’s helpful to explore the roles that we have been raised with – such as the caregiver role, fawn or perfectionist – so that these stories can be introduced into our adult awareness. Awareness allows us be conscious and intentional on how we translate our childhood experiences into adult life. A boundary is an amazing tool to practice and develop as a way to explore our paths. Each boundary practiced can teach us something about ourselves and illuminate our next step. Often our stories are told by our conditioning to please others. Our physiology may become dis-regulated when we set limits because our mind and body has not yet integrated this new way of thinking. A boundary can help clear the way for the next path and relationship we want to begin.
